Definition
Item Tracking technique is an organised approach which addresses elements such as the problems, actions, hypothesis, constraints, dependencies, enhancements, issues, risks, defects or any other concern.
It is used to capture and assign responsibility for problem solving or for concerns posing an impact to a solution. It also makes sure that all the concerns and all the problems are evaluated, classified, monitored, assigned to one or several stakeholders and resolved in a timely manner.
