Item Tracking technique is an organised approach which addresses elements such as the problems, actions, hypothesis, constraints, dependencies, enhancements, issues, risks, defects or any other concern.

It is used to capture and assign responsibility for problem solving or for concerns posing an impact to a solution.  It also makes sure that all the concerns and all the problems are evaluated, classified, monitored, assigned to one or several stakeholders and resolved in a timely manner.

Why to use item tracking?

Quicker solves problems.

  • Frees time for other existing problems.
  • Reduces or removes the negative impacts of the concerns.
  • Allows for understanding, monitoring and resolving the stakeholder concerns.
  • Offers a means of classifying the items by order of importance.
